  25. Soccer Scorecard is released as SHAREWARE.  The shareware version may be
  26. freely distributed for evaluation purposes.  Shareware is not freeware.
  27. Users may install and evaluate the product for a period not exceeding 30
  28. (thirty) days from first installation, after which they must discontinue
  29. using it - or pay the authors the required registration fee.

  31. Users are reminded that the shareware concept is not a means of
  32. distributing and obtaining free software - it is simply a low-cost
  33. distribution method which benefits both the authors and users alike.
  34. With its intrinsic low operational overheads shareware authors are able
  35. to offer quality software at reasonable cost, which cannot be matched by
  36. more commercially orientated methods.  Furthermore users are able to
  37. satisfy themselves that the software meets or exceeds their personal
  38. needs without having to pay for the product up-front.  With commercial
  39. software it is usually the case that the full purchase price is required
  40. in advance, usually the decision is made against just a published
  41. specification, and at best it is typically difficult to return the
  42. software for a refund once the disk seals are broken.

  45. the authors feel committed to enhancing their products further.
